Nairobi, Kenya ยท Est. 2001
You are invited to be their gardener โ to provide the conditions for mighty oaks to grow.
Numbers tell part of the story. But behind every number is a name, a face, a life redirected toward possibility โ supported by gardeners in Kenya, Singapore, the USA, and beyond.
Since 2001, over 8,300 children have walked through the gate at CGH. Each one an acorn.
250 living in the home. 170 day scholars. Growing in the garden right now.
From gardeners in Kenya, Singapore, the USA, and beyond โ (approx. USD 3.1M) โ entrusted to CGH since 2001.
Land, buildings, and farmland โ (approx. USD 775K) โ a permanent home, rooted in Nairobi.
The Garden Today
Every year, new acorns arrive at CGH. They come from the slums of Nairobi โ some orphaned, some abandoned, some rescued from the streets. Each one carries within them the same potential that Stanley carried when he walked through the gate at seven years old.
This is what the garden looks like today โ children learning, playing, singing, growing. Future teachers, nurses, and changemakers in the making.
Become a Gardener
It is not a donation. It is a decision to tend a garden you may never visit โ but whose oaks will provide shade for generations you will never meet.
